Come explore The Nature Museum’s innovative and interactive exhibits - you can dig for fossils, discover minerals in a mine, watch honeybees at work in their hive, or investigate underground life in a crawl-through tunnel. For those who wish to experience Vermont’s beauty first hand, you could enjoy a walk on The Village Park trails. Whether you participate in a program, tour, or special event, or simply explore on your own, The Nature Museum has a natural experience for you!

Exhibits and the Second Nature Shop: Open Saturdays and Sundays year-round; daily during foliage season. We are happy to open any time by appointment.

Grafton Historical Society Museum

Wonderful collections of Grafton artifacts, creatively displayed in fresh exhibits annually. Open Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and 2 to 4 p.m.

Churches

The Brick Church was built in 1833 at the Congregational meeting house and is listed with the National Registry of Historical Places. The White Church was built in 1858 as the Baptist meeting house. The churches united in 1972 with services held at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday in the Brick Church from June-October and in the White Church from November -May. Both churches are open to visit.

The Vermont Museum of Mining & Minerals

Find out what’s underfoot in Vermont. Displays of Vermont’s own state gem, rock

and mineral; rocks and minerals that have contributed to Vermont’s economic

history, plus spectacular minerals from around the world. See a miniature village

made entirely of Vermont marble, slate and granite, and view one of the world’s

largest ammonites. Discover the beauty of fluorescent minerals and show the kids

the special children’s exhibit, memory game and gift shop.

Open May 30th thru min October Saturday and Sunday 10-12 and 1-4 and by

appointment.
