Interstate 91 north to Exit 5 (Bellows Falls). Bear right off exit to T at end of road. Left of Route 5 north, 2 miles to first traffic lights. Turn left at lights to Route 121 west. Proceed on Route 121 about 12 miles to Grafton.

Alternative route from the Brattleboro area: Route 30 north 17 miles to Townshend. In Townshend, take Route 35 north 3 miles. Take left fork in road, 7 miles to Grafton.

Interstate 91 south to Exit 7 (Springfield). Follow Route 11 west through Springfield approximately 11 miles to Chester. In Chester, turn right and follow Route 11 about 1/2 mile to Route 35. Left on Route 35 south to Grafton, about 7 miles.

The best year-round route is to go through Chester. Then follow Route 35 about 7 miles south to Grafton.
